Sam Sterling – Managing Director
Sam Sterling, Managing Director with nearly 10 years of leadership experience, is a highly skilled architectural professional. With extensive knowledge in planning, architectural design, and building regulations, Sam is particularly recognised as a technical specialist. His expertise spans construction, project management, and working closely with M&E companies to deliver efficient, sustainable solutions. Outside of work, Sam enjoys nature, spending time with his dogs Leo and Rufus, and indulging in his passions for wild camping, birdwatching, and fishing. A lover of art, philosophy, and fine cooking, Sam’s culinary favourites include eggs Benedict, Sri Lankan goat curry, and Roman carbonara.
Leo & Rufus - Directors of Morale
Every architectural practice needs a touch of joy—and at ours, Leo and Rufus serve as our dedicated Directors of Morale.
Leo, our charismatic black Labrador, leads with naturally positive energy and unshakeable optimism. While our architects draft innovative designs, he's busy offering reassuring tail wags and friendly nudges to keep spirits high during challenging projects.
Rufus, our spirited Cocker Spaniel and Leo's trusted assistant, excels at providing a calming presence when deadlines approach. His playful antics and perfect timing for interruptions remind us to pause and appreciate the moment.
Though they don't design buildings, Leo and Rufus build something equally valuable—team morale. Their daily "pawsitive thinking" sessions and motivational barks create the warm atmosphere where our best creative work happens.
They'll eagerly greet you when you visit. Consider yourself warned: resistance to their charm is architecturally impossible.
